COURSE DESCRIPTION 課程介紹 

This course is an introduction to the systematic study of Christian doctrines according to the Evangelical tradition. Historical (diachronical) and thematic (synchronical) aspects are explored in each major Christian doctrine. The learning outcomes of this course are in line with the learning outcome of the M.Div. Program which is to train pastors and missionaries for the Chinese Church. Hence, special emphasis is placed on the application of these doctrines in evangelism, apologetics, pastoral ministries, missiological considerations and theological contextualization. Class discussions and assignments are designed to encourage the students to apply the contents of the course in these related fields.

此課程基於福音信仰去系統闡釋基督教教義，每一個教義都依循歷史和主題的兩個層面去開展。此課目的與道學碩士目的相符，乃是要培育華人教會的教牧及宣教同工。故此，課程設計重點在於教義能應用在傳福音、護教、教牧、宣教及神學本土化等方面。教室討論及作業之目的在於鼓勵學員將所學的知識應用在不同的有關領域上。
