Policy about student records

Information that forms part of the student record is collected under the authority of the Post-Secondary Learning Act of the Province of Alberta and in accordance with Section 32(c) of the Alberta Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, (FOIPP Act).The student record is disclosed to academic and administrative units. Specific information is disclosed to the federal and provincial governments to meet reporting requirements.

Public information regarding students:

The following is a list of directory items that may be made available to the public regarding students of the school without their prior consent and is considered part of the public record of their attendance:

  1. Name
  2. Address (local, permanent, and electronic mail)
  3. Telephone number
  4. Program
  5. Dates of attendance
  6. Enrollment status (full-time, part-time, or not enrolled)
  7. Date of graduation
  8. Degrees and awards received and where received
  9. Most recent educational institution attended
